Action packed. Female heroine. Different story, kept your attention.Oh My! What a ride this book was! Forced myself to finally put it down about 2 am knowing I had to get up for work. Great leading character and want to know more of her story, training, etc. I hope the author has more lined up for her in a series as I’ll be waiting to order. Thank you for a great read!If you like Dawson’s Beatrix Rose & Isabella, try this story Ham’s backstory is gradually revealed as she rescues her imperiled “sister.” Of course she is a highly-trained former operative living off the grid but called to mete out justice and vengeance to dirty cops. The plot twists are clever and the epilogue is touching. The stage is deftly set for the next books in a new series. If you like Mark Dawson’s thrillers this book should please.
