Great Buy! It comes in a box with the special art on it and there is a sleeve for the manga that has the same image on it. The cards are what really wowed me though. Every card has a different colored image on it from the manga. Some of the images are taken from the covers of previous manga and some are colored pictures from the inside. Love it!!
As a fan of the anime, I’m not QUITE up-to-speed with the manga but let’s face it – that doesn’t matter. It’s not why I bought this. The deck of cards that comes with this is AMAZING. It’s a complete 54-Card Deck (including Jokers), all with colored images pulled right from the manga. The cards are also made out of this textured-plasticy material (e.g. not cardboard/pressed paper, whatever) so they feel super durable.
Seriously, spend the $12 and get the cards. Totally worth the purchase for those alone.
The special edition is a nice change, the volume itself is another amazing edition. I hope December comes soon for the next volume.
